Product Overview

The ULV Micro Fogger provides controlled atomization for fine fog, mist and spray applications. It can produce near-invisible 0.5-10 micron droplets for concentrated ULV chemicals and larger droplets up to 30 microns for applications such as humidification, dust abatement and sanitizing.

The fogger can atomize both oil-based and water-based liquids and features an adjustable brass flow-control valve for droplet control. Its portable design and 304 grade stainless steel body make it suitable for a wide range of fogging applications.

How to Use

Add chemical solution to the liquid tank
Plug the fogger power cord into a grounded power outlet
Using the calibrated flow rate and dosage instructions provided by the chemical manufacturer, calculate the time required to properly fog the area
Adjust the angle of the fogger power head for the space being treated; point the nozzle slightly upward for maximum distance
Aim the fog output towards the area requiring treatment
Confirm the flow control valve is set to the desired setting and turn on the fogger

Cleaning the Fogger

Normal Clean-up:
When fogging is complete, remove the suction tube from the liquid source and operate the fogger for one minute with the valve fully open. This expels liquid remaining in the internal lines. Transfer excess chemical from the tank to an appropriate container.

Clean-up of Difficult Liquids:
After fogging a viscous liquid, emulsion or solid suspension, first perform the normal clean-up. Then place the suction tube into an appropriate solvent for the fogging chemical and operate for 1-2 minutes to flush residual chemicals. Repeat the normal clean-up afterward.

Long Term Storage:
Remove all liquid from the tank to reduce the potential for long-term chemical attack on the tank, suction tube or tubing, and then perform the appropriate cleaning procedure.

About Motor Brushes

Two graphite brushes convey electric power to the motor commutator. Brushes are consumable items with a limited operating life and must be replaced when worn.

Operating the fogger without the air intake filter may allow airborne dirt and moisture to enter the motor and can substantially reduce brush life. When the brushes are worn, the motor may not operate properly.

Warranty Details

The product is warranted for 1 year from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. Motor Brushes, Tank Gaskets and Timer are not covered under warranty.

The warranty does not apply to units subjected to misuse, neglect, accident, unauthorized modification or service, use for purposes for which the product was not designed, or operation with voltage other than that specified.
